Do you use smacking as a form of discipline in your house? Not looking for a debate about it, just a simple yes or no would do! Where we live our methods seem to be in the minority (non smacker here). So I am curious to see if it's the same in here![]()

No smacking here (though DS is only 13 months, that might change when he's 3
).

None here either. Though I have given him a gentle tap on the hand when he was younger if he was ignoring me and doing something dangerous!

I haven't needed to TBH. DS is devastated if he's told to sit on his bed for bad behaviour, DD#1 frustrates me so much sometimes that if I smacked her I don't think I would stop so it's best not to even start!! DD#2 is devastated if I tell her that she's done something naughty so it's enough to just tell her she's been naughty!
