Well im 28 years old from Pakenham i have an 18 month old son his name is Jayden. I actually joined bubhub when i had found out i was pregnant but never got on it and i thought i would give it ago now that Jayden is a bit older and since im a stay at home mum it gets quiet lonely at times and it would be nice to be able to talk to someone other then my 18 month old lol. My son is quiet a happy kid but is quiet attached to me so it would be nice to try to take him out of his comfort zone and get him to be around other kids.

Oh dear! The forecast for this afternoon is no longer 'chance of showers' but is now going to be thunderstorms and heavy rain! I am wondering if we should reschedule? I know how disappointing it would be but this is likely to be a little more than a few drops of rain! I don't want people to feel obliged to take their kids out to the park in potentially dangerous walking/driving/playing weather so am happy to postpone to next Friday afternoon if that is the preference? I know there is at least two other mums who are put off by the weather and it would be much more enjoyable if everyone could attend. I'd hate to go ahead with it and have people feel like they're missing out! What do others think?

Hey yeah i saw that too this melbourne weather is sooo unpredictable lol. Unless we meet somewhere else like a playcentre or something.

It's definitely annoying how unpredictable Melbourne weather is! My son loves play centres but we usually try and avoid them around 3pm on a Friday afternoon as they're generally jam packed with rowdy school kids! Also some mums might not want to spend the money and I know at least one or two have crawlers & may not be keen on the play centre idea. To be honest while I love taking my son there, I'm trying to avoid places like that with an immuno-compromised not-yet eight week old bubby. But if everyone is keen on that of course I will understand and can't expect you not to for my benefit! I'll have to give it a miss! I am still very keen to meet you all though if anyone wants to reschedule the park to next Friday afternoon?
