Oops, I've only just realised that I've come into the wrong thread! I don't have conception issues (well I do in a way, but the doctors have said that I shouldn't have a problem this time around ) and I'm not on any fertility assistance (again, for now, touch wood) so please withdraw me and I'll pop along to the normal March testing thread.
I'm sorry for the mistake, I feel horrible coming in here all chirpy about TTC when I should be ok this time around and most of you seem to be on fertility assistance. Big apologies, it must have seemed very insensitive of me! My only defense was that I was very tired when I searched for the thread and didn't realise I was in the wrong place. Not much of an excuse really .
But to all of you!

Eko - This isn't an assisted conception thread. Although it may seem that way . This is the general testing thread. So you are def in the right place. Be chirper all you like. TTC is exciting. Please stay .

Thanks CottonCandy. I did realise this is the conceptions issues and TTC area . What I meant was this isn't just for the assisted conception ladies or just the general TTC ladies. It's for all of us who are TTC. Does that make sense? I know what I'm trying to say .

No worries lol.
I think the testing threads in the general section are only relatively new. They certainly weren't there when I first joined BH .

Mind if I join? I'm popping over from the Feb threads, AF arrived late last night/early this morning so I'm counting today as CD1.
I'm not holding my breath that anything will happen this month, my new GP thinks PCOS might be the explanation for nothing happening for the past 14 months, as I have been told I don't O and just have withdrawal or anovulatory bleeds ever 36-40 days. Waiting for a new referral to a fertility specialist, but I suppose there is no harm in hoping there might still be a chance this month?!
I think if I am going to O it will be around the 5th-7th, so I guess I'll be testing around 15th March? Can you please add me to the list!
Fingers crossed for a good March for everyone xoxo

Tormy - If by chance you have PCOS it can cause you OPK's to show positive but your body not O.
The reason they show positive is because your body gears up for O with the LH surge and high temps (if your temping like me) but your body fails to O. So you can have multiple positve OPK's but not actually O.
Did I make sense?

Tormy - It's very frusterating. I gave up on OPK's while cycling naturally because of my PCOS. I only use them when I'm on clomid.
I can't remember but have you had a BT? If you have PCOS you'll have high testosterone levels as an indicator. That was my indication. I then had a dildo cam and that was inconclusive. It wasn't untill I'd done 8 clomid cycles and were starting IVF that I was finally confirmed as having PCO. Apparently I have the PCO not the syndrome. I forget what the difference is lol. Something to do with weight. I'll have to google lol.
