    My sons name isn't on the list but his middle name Thomas is... He shares the name with his father and great grandfather.

    No but if my DD1 was a boy she would have been Jack William. When she was born Jack was no. 1 and William was no. 3.
    DS has a name that is increasing in popularity but not sure if it will ever get to the top 10 though.

    James is on our list of boys names for bub #1 this year.

    I have a very common name (Michelle, born in early 80's - there was always another one or two in each of my classes at school), but I haven't seen any harm in it. So picking a name in the current top 10 isn't bothering me.
