So I'm pretty sure my DD (4 in March) has pulled a muscle. It seems to be where her leg meets her groin. We went to a show yesterday and went on a few rides but she didn't complain of any pain until she was going to bed last night.
She's woken up this morning complaining of a sore leg and is having trouble walking on it. Then all of a sudden she'll walk on it fine and then it'll hurt again. I don't think anything is broken (as she will be fine for about an hour and then complain again) and that it's probably a pulled muscle.
Would you take your child to someone for a pulled muscle? If so, what sort of medical professional would you see? I just think about what I'd do if it was me and I'd probably leave it for a few days to see if it just settles down...but I'm not sure if it's the same for a child.
Any experiences or suggestions?
