I know I've said this before but I just love to hear Manu speak, when he said 'O-M-G' the other night I just wanted to give him big pash, don't know why, maybe I'm having a crush on him

In regards to the semi-finals, I think it's a shame that the sisters are up against the Italian boys, I was hoping they'd be up against each other in the final. But they're all cooking really well, they all deserve to be there, Í'm happy with the final 4, even though the brother/sister combo are out.

    It's all getting pretty exciting!!

How good did the girls' dessert look? It's from the Matt Moran cookbook DH got me for Christmas, I've been meaning to try it for months...

Yes! I commented tonight actually. Eyebrow raise with a smug smile. Very irritating.

I am surprised the girls got through. Raw pigeon and grit in their main, yet they still got 8's and 9's. Ridiculous.

i was sooo shocked i thought the other team had a way better menu and on tasting the judges had no negatives yet with the girls there's was the raw pigeon, grit, the girls said they had over cooked the fish, the skin wasn't crispy .... kinda funny outcome?!

What a strange outcome tonight. Im assuming that they are sick of seafood meals so scored the girls higher because they have more varied skills all round...which is true. Their meal tonight wasnt better but all round they are better cooks and deserve to go through...unfortunately they are supposed to go through based on their food that they JUST cooked. Seemed wrong that they got through on that fail menu.

I think technically jennifer and Leigh's menu was far superior which is why they may have scored higher.

It's like a wheat grain I think. I'm guessing that like a lot of other stuff -mung beans etc - after it's picked, it's probably spread out on the road to dry hence the gravel.

I was really surprised L & J won. That pot of pigeon heads was one of the more disturbing things I have seen to date.

Another one surprised the girls won , yes, their menu may have been more superior, but my goodness it looked and sounded so unappealing!

The work that went into the chowder from Andy, wasn't short of skills either, I know which menu I would have preferred to eat...hmmmm, raw Pidgeon over delish looking seafood chowder, it's a tough one!
