    Default slower than dial-up speed

    So I decided to ring optus today too see why my internet is running so slow for the last couple of weeks, and he got me to do a speed check and its running slower then dial-up, I dont know how I have managed on such slow internet sometimes I get the sh!ts with it and just turn it off. Its so slow that this is the third time trying to do this thread it works this time. Copying and pasting just incase it dont

    Ours is awful too, we are with tpg tho, i wonder if they go through optus. Blardy shocking!

    Hope it picks up for us both soon

    He said that there could be a tower down, that they dont know about cause they only find out about things like that when customers ring up, Yes I think TPG goes through Optus

    My wireless is the same, I am with iinet who use optus lines or signals or whatever (comes up saying you are now connected to optus wireless something something) and I swear to god I have had dial up back in tge day that was faster!!
    I can only ever get 1 bar of service and it takes on average 1min50sec to load a freakin web page
    not happy Jan!

    Are you using one of those stick things or a proper modem?

    I'm with optus too! Super slow and always has been. Thinking of changing providers. Tried calling iinet but apparently here I need to have a telstra connection first, then go to iinet. So, I will just have to put up with a slow connection

    My home Internet Optus, has been fine but at work with iinet it had been super slow to were I had to use the boss' iPad to pay the accounts


    Yep, it's another iPhone

    A stick thingy. Was told it would be about the same speed as my iPhone..... No where near it!
