Thanks chook11 for all the great info. I will definitely keep a close eye on things and watch the presentation you sent the link to. Congratulations on your little boy and best of luck extending your family. I really appreciate the reply, it gives me some hope. Do you mind me asking what dose you had to stim at to get the one follicle/egg. I have been stimming at 600 and am terrified from things I have read that the 900 my new doctor wants me to do is too high and will be detrimental to egg quality. I have read quite a bit about the more scaled back approach yielding better results when you have a low AMH and are classed as a poor responder.
SG79 your story also gives me hope so thanks for sharing. I am taking DHEA and have been seeing a great fertility naturopath for about a year, taking herbs and doing acupuncture. I am just not ready to give up on my own eggs while there is still hope and until I have done everything in my power.
Mel.

Have you read my ttc diary? I was you 6 years ago. Went to egg collection with 2 follies and they both had no eggs. Long story short I went to donor eggs and have a 3 year old now. Look at all your options xx

Mel - My stim dose on the successful cycle was 450 Gonal F.
I've heard a lot about low stim and natural, and a lot of ladies on the Network54 high FSH board, based in the US, are going to a low stim clinic. (http://www.network54.com/Forum/53068/) However, I couldn't find anyone around here geared up for that.
As well as the YouTube link to their Investor Day presentation on Dec 17 (2.5 hours long), there is another presentation from 14 Jan on their website. Actually there are two webcasts, one is the presentation itself, and the other is Q&A. They usually only leave them up for 2 weeks so it will disappear soon.

Thanks ladies, lilypily I haven't read your ttc diary but I will check it out. :-) Such a tough journey hey?
Chook11, I'm definitely going to check out the webcasts you've recommended. I'm at the coast for a mini break before hectic work schedule starts again but will check them out when I get home.

Hi! My AMH was 1.1 and I now have a 6 month old son! My eggs/embryos always had quite a lot of fragmentation and never looked that great. Have you considered genetic testing? This way you know the embryo getting put back is genetically normal!

Thanks GStef, I have not ever had genetic testing. Something to think about and talk to the FS, thanks. I have always done ok quality wise though given how low my numbers are. Have just completed a cycle where only 2 eggs were retrieved and both fertilised well to 8 cells for a 3 days transfer. In the dreaded 2WW now and very grateful that they both made it and were looking so good. Congratulations on your little boy. It gives me hope, knowing you got your little bundle of joy with a low AMH.

Ladies, hello!! I've just read this entire thread with raised hopes. I have an AMH of 2.? (I can't remember precisely)but I'm 37 and TTC #1 for a year. Hubby had no issues. Have done ivf X1 and went to do another cycle but got 1 measly follie and did iui instead which resulted again in BFN. I'm changing specialists after three months with my current one...I have lost hope a lot and only after two cycles..hugs to you all xx I have felt so VERY alone as I know nobody who's doing ivf who has the low amh. Anyway I just thought I'd say hi xxx
