I am hoping that I can join in too as on Wednesday I have my test which will be 12 days after transfer. This is my first IVF cycle and I hope my last as I found the whole process very taxing on me emotionally. On Thursday and Friday I spotted but hardly enough to appear on a pad and Saturday and Sunday just light spotting. I am getting tired as the days go on, my tummy is tight and and I have cramping on an off since Thursday. I am hoping the spotting is just implanting. I have been getting hungry and usually am prone to skip meals however since Saturday this has been a problem as I feel hungry to point of feeling sick if I even think of skipping a meal. I am 35 and am hoping that this doesn't go against me IVF wise and that I might have left it all too late. I have PCOS and a septated uterus. I have one son 13 who turns 14 in 11 days, I had him naturally when I was 21 before my PCOS kicked in, he was unplanned but definitely not unwanted. I have taken a hpt that I did yesterday at 6pm, a digital one that came back negative but I have not taken that as gospel.

Welcome Ivy & Beckki!! Hope March is successful for you.
Hi to everyone else. How are we all going?
AFM: STILL no AF. Can you believe it? Of course it would have to be late now that I'm waiting for it.

I found this forum about a month ago and have been following since then.
Just want to say hello to all of you and want to share my IVF journey.
This is my very first cycle and I've just had EPU yesterday @ Melb IVF. The result was not really good . There were only 3 eggs collected. I'm worrying none of them will grow good enough for ET by tomorrow.
Right now, me and my DH are thinking about the next cycle as we're losing hope on this one.
@Jessesgirl: good luck for your EPU tomorrow.

Jessesgirl & Dancing – good luck for Wednesday morning
Skizzie – I know exactly how you feel, my BT Wed too, fingers crossed, you never know, might get a pleasant surprise!
Clem – stay positive, it is so hard waiting, just horrible really. Before you know it the time will come. Your lucky you got 5 frosties, I didn’t get any out of 13 eggs!
Minxyq – your lucky to be going away, what a great distraction for 2ww.
Gsef – how you feeling, hope that you still have some optimism in you?? Not long now!
Elly – sorry AF arrived hun, however think positive, you’re lucky you have frosties, that’s a great positive, lots of people end up with none at all, including me
MARTTC – how you going?
TWWing - good luck to you all, hope your staying sane
Those jabbing away - hopefully your are coping ok with all the needles and side effects.
A big hello to all the newbies good luck with the roller coaster ride
AFM - less than 24 hours i will know if i am pregnant, this has been the longest 2 weeks of my life. Even after a HPT BFN, i am trying to remain a little optimistic after the multiply stories i have heard from here, ladies getting a BFN from HPT then BFP from BT. Thanks for all the well wishes and kind words over the last few weeks ladies, its been a great support network. Planning a trip to Europe if we get the BFN, preference definitely a BFP though.

Maybe sex will do the trick???
13-03-2012 15:08 #450
Thanks girls. I was asking because we're just trying to get some kind of rough idea when EPU might be. DH's microdissection needs to be on the same day they do EPU for me ... and he will need at least a week off work for recovery so needs to plan. I know we can't really know until we see how I respond, but just trying to get a rough idea.
Oooh, was the sex suggestion for bringing on AF? I'll suggest that to DH tonight! A bath often seems to bring it on too - might try that as well.
I just realised I didn't answer someone's question about the pomegranate juice earlier. This was a tip from the Sydney IVFers thread, and seems to have worked for a few ladies this month. I think it's only for FETs - the idea is that drinking pommy juice will help build the lining. But you only do it up until EPU.
