Default Tell me how fantastic it is to have only one child

For a while I have been uncertain if we should have more then one child..I think we have decided one is just great!!!

We love to travel / stay in hotels..eat out ..basically we spend a bit on having fun..one child fits in well with this ..when we thought and talked about another child..well the cost was going to put a strain on this lifestyle we love ...so for all with just one...tell me how great it is!!!!

I can work with DS in school now that he's older without hearing nonsense such as "child care is dirty/bad/evil/having someone else RAISE YOUR child", I only have to get one in and out of cars (hate doung that), we're not poor, I can spend all the time in the world with him one on one, I only have to do one tuck in at night, he doesn't have to argue over toys and other things, sicknesses aren't a catastrophe, he's off dancing in the other room while I am sitting here peacefully

We love it!! Especially for all the things you mentioned! I'm sure there are a million other reason but I can't think of any atm. Lol.

Lol it's easier that's for sure!
I am preggers with no. 3 and my closest friends only have 1.
They can afford to do more financially but also find that theur child has a lot of imaginary friends in place of siblings :-)

We only have one at this stage... TTC..
    She is nearly five..

Having another is only a recent decision as we were content with just her..

    12hours a night sleeping through..
    One tuck in
One in and out the car
One to drag shopping if I have to
    One to watch swimming
Easy as she us getting older, we have freedom back..
Been enjoying life in a big way since she was about 2 .. Freedom
Easy to nip into stores quickly with one...

    Um loads is great really!

    But...

She's lonely and has been asking for a sibling since about four years old.

We are ready to do it again now after a considerable break and spending quality one on one time with her in her first five years.

Sorry if I went of topic..

It's about what you want, what you can cope with and what you believe your child needs.

I decided on one because if I want to provide the best start possible for DD Financially, activities etc I could with two I wouldn't be able to
