I pay my babysitter $20 an hour, she works in child care and is great with my boys (who are full on!).

    Took the red pill.

I'm thinking I'll start advertising again, I used to be the only babysitter in my town and was in very high demand!! I'm very hands on, games/craft etc.
Things that parents quite often don't get as much time to do. I'm always exhausted by the end of it!!

Do you pay special rates for overnight?

On the very few occasions we've used a babysitter we have paid $20 an hour. I think often babysitters charge less when kids are asleep, however, our DD can be a nightmare to get to sleep so we think they deserve the $20 an hour!

Not that I've used a babysit overnight, but I'm pretty sure when I was looking into it, the people in this area charged $10 an hour over night.
Not sure if this starts at a particular time like 8 pm or something? And I would assume it would go up a little if they had a bub that still woke a couple of times for abottle?

I used to work for dial an angel where the costs were something like one child $16 per hour, 2 children $18, 3 or more children $20 per hour, plus a $22 admin fee.
It also depended on the age of your child and whether or not they were in any way difficult.

I have just thought about this too. I thought 15/hour for 2 kids, no different rates for evenings or weekends.
