I'm feeling quite sad about this all, I am now only a few weeks from having DS2 and was really hoping to tandem feed! But my nipples have been extremely sensitive, so i haven't enjoyed breatfeedig for a few weeks now and I guess DS1 has lost interest. I tried feeding him today and he either flat out refused or just held my nipple in his mouth for a few seconds. Is there any hope that he'll
come back to breastfeeding or is this it?
Oh and he is 19 months now if that makes a difference.

Yep... When he sees newborn feeding and realizes there is a feast of new milk.. Many toddlers have renewed interest! So he may too :

I really hope so!! I realised though, that he probably hasn't self weaned, it's been my doing.. I havent offered a feed for ages and I started giving him bottles when I was about 20 something weeks pregnant cause he kept waking for feeds and I had no milk
I should have known better but I'm still so surprised that he went from being boob-obsessed to completely ignoring them in what seemed to be such a short time.
I'm ramblig here Anyway, I guess I'll just keep offering and hope he gets interested again!
