    Default What to bake today?

I want to bake with dd, but when I mentioned it we both looked at each other and went "but what to bake?"

I don't know whether to bake something for dessert, although we normally only have that on special occasions, or something just for home, or something she can also have for school. As you can see, we both wanted to bake, but stopped in our track when we talked about it more.

We are baking bread. DS cut ginger bread man shapes out of his dough (man rolls!) and snake bread sticks. I'm using the rest of the dough to make a small loaf. The house smells goooood

Oh how I miss mars bar slice

Forgot to mention we have a gluten free home. Mostly there are alternatives, but I have yet to find an alternative to mars bars or curly whirly chocolates.

Thank you though, a slice sounds great

Have you made beetroot chocolate cake? I think it might be similar. Yummo!

I have bread mix, might try something with that. Thanks everyone!

No I haven't tried the beetroot version, but may have to give it a go next time!

My first baked cheesecake is in the oven, it works! It's a creme egg one .

My sister had requested a pavlova so I guess that's next. I saw a recipe for a beetroot choccy cake the other evening, I wonder if we view a similar FB page SAB . It looked soooooo good!

    Now I want choccy cake!

    Sam
