    I looked at it and thought Raphael is ninja turtles and Rafael is tennis player. I like the ninja turtle one better. Awesome name!

    Thanks for all the replies! I'll show DP...

    We'll probably call him both Raphael and Raf (or Rif Raf if he's naughty... :-D). Rafael is the European spelling and Raphael the Anglo one. But considering he's going to be born and raised here it makes more sense to me to do the Anglo spelling.

    DP reckons most people would spell it Rafael and I reckon most in Australia would spell Raphael. Having to always spell my name to people I thought I'll save the little one from having to do that.
