My partner works in wacol so more ipswitch way. It needs to be near a train station tho so I can get to uni.

I think that's half our problem also we know like no one here to tell us what areas are ok..

When we look at applications we always rate them on income, rental history and job security, your application sounds fine but they may have "better" applicants ( as in both work - which at least in an agents mind means if one looses their job then the other person hopefully would cover the rent)

I would recommend starting a new thread asking for ideas where to live (with info on where you need to get to and approx spending amount).

I am sure the ladies and guys on here can help.

Do you go to uni in the city?

Yeah might have too look into that.

Yeah maybe that's true Elijahs mum but surely there must be stay at home mums, other students etc in the same situation that get houses. We will just keep putting in applications

UQ? That isn't actually on a train line, it is about 3km from nearest station. Bus might be a better bet?

Yep I know, I have to get off the train on to a bus that goes directly to the uni. But yeah buses or trains just whatever is in the area just as long as there is public transport..
