    oh god i used to hate that! Didn't get it too much, but i would get my boss coming home on friday on time, then saying 'oh i'll just run down to the cash machine and get your money' and come back 20 mins later.
    I find it really pays to tell them in the morning that you have somewhere to be, they usually make an effort if they know.
