Are you sure it's from the burger? Maccas have such a massive turn over.. their food doesn't sit around for long before it gets used.

It may just be a stomach bug, but yeah i would head to the docs for a check up regardless

I think listeria generally starts with flu like symptoms (or sometimes gastro).

I would think it's just run of the mill gastro. I had gastro several times when pregnant.

I'm veg so don't eat mcdonald's but would think the meat would be cooked within an inch of its life and served straight away so not a risky listeria item anyway.

I'd be hesitant to think its maccas. Was it hot? Food is cooked and served rather quickly there . Id be more worried at a local

I felt sick all day yesterday with nausea and exhaustion but that been normal for me with this pregnancy. I re heated the burger to make sure it was super hot when we got home so wouldn't have that killed anything?? I ate 3 very small pieces of cold roast lamb that I cooked from the night before but that was earlier in the day and the maccas was all I ate all day as I was feeling so sick. I also had some soft serve ice cream but ate that while preg with DS and never got sick. So stupid for eating such **** food while preg but at the same time I've never had food poisoning from maccas as you have said they cook it fresh now days. I don't even know how I'm gna leave the toilet bowl to go to the doc

Hope your all right and it's just gastro Maccas tasted fine so hopefully it was I just blamed that cos that's the only thing I ate other than early in the day. Could it be dehydration?? I only had a small amount of water yesterday.

Last time I was pregnant, I had gastro three times in a week or two. I don't think it was from food, but from a bug from somebody else.

    gastro is unfortunately not uncommon.
