    Default how early did you wash and put away new baby stuff?

    I am thinking about washing all of bubs stuff and putting it away in the draws... i have 8 weeks left is that too early??

    I did all mine on the weekend, & I have 5 weeks to go.....but that was more because the furniture we ordered for the nursery finally arrived, so I actually had draws to put his clothes into

    I was wondering the same thing! I will going to wait a couple more weeks so maybe around the 34-35 week mark...

    i have 14 weeks to go still and probably 95% of mine is washed and put away already. i like to be organised.

    How exciting ! I was thinking about this very question just last night! I have already bought all the clothing I'll need for the first couple of months (who doesn't love shopping for baby stuff?) and I really want to put it all away and have it washed, but of course if I do that now I'd have to re-wash everything. I'd do it around 3 weeks before the due date, only because you could go into labour early, it's not something you can predict, and I'd want it all done to be sure.

    Usually about 3 weeks before I am due I have a big wash and sort out the wardrobe. I love the big baby clothes wash makes it all real!

    I usually do it around the 20-25wk mark (after I found out the sex so I knew what clothes to organise). I only do it so early because I know that I get really tired and unmotivated later in pregnancy and I have other things to worry about organising in the later stages, so the clothes and cloth nappies are the first to get done

    I was thinking this too that's why I asked if I did it now I'd have to re wash everything right??

    I have just done all mine and I have 7 weeks to go. I say do it whenever you have the motivation to do so, because who knows when that will come & go!! I am in hols from work atm, so i thought i would get it done, one less thing to worry about in the last couple of really tiring weeks. Haha
