    Default CVS and FISH

    Hi all,

I've tentatively booked in for a CVS on Tuesday after being given a high risk for DS as a result of my nuchal fold (bloods were fine).

For those that have had them how quickly do you get the results and how much did it cost? I hear you can potentially get quick results but wasn't sure if these are as accurate and whether these are really expensive?

I have had a CVS once and it was i think around $350- $400 (but can't remember as it was a few years back.
The results are just as reliable if you get them back quicker from my experience.
I had to wait about a week for mine.

    Thanks girls

I got a phone call from my OB's rooms today re my CVS results and all is clear I'm so relieved and exhausted from all the nervousness! Still have to have an early morph scan to check there are no heart issues but fingers crossed all is good. We also found out we are having a little girl!!!
