I believe at the clinic that I use there is I think that it brings the out of pocket expenses down quite significantly. I was looking at doing a frozen cycle and I think the out of pocket expenses were around $500.

Thanks tangles, can I ask which clinic you are with?
I am looking at westmead although it means flying to get to the clinic it is so much cheaper! Really like the idea of a clinic not wanting to rip you off when it's a rough ride anyway through infertility.

    Thanks again

Hi girls, I've spoken to my fc and she says they only do it once a year, from memory it's about $1000 off! That's with Monash..

    Good luck!

Jesse girl that's great news! I am looking at monash Geelong as its our closest and might be able to afford it soon with that extra saving! We haven't been referred yet but I know we need icsi as this is how we conceived our son, but I did a cycle in the uk!
So want to get started but money is a big issue! I feel so confused about all the Medicare stuff and find it frustrating that no one can tell you exactly!
Will call monash again to see what they tell me!

Thank you thank you thank you

    Jen x
