    7 weeks. I had a pph so lost heaps of blood then, went to theatre for that so I didn't expect to keep bleeding so much. I also had some infection needing another four nights in hospital. Infection came on a week after dd was born and was inside obviously, not at the wound site. Maybe hey didn't get all he placenta but with 2 goes I'd've thought they would.

    Up to 6 weeks is normal is what my ob said anyway.

    4 weeks, but after a few days it was only light - normal pads were fine.

    With DD1, 8 weeks (but only really light after about 2 weeks) and with DS and DD2, 5 weeks (again, really light after 2 weeks).

    Thanks everyone. Interesting how much it varies from person to person. Hoping it lets up soon. I had a PPH and I am sick of bleeding!!!
