    Default Bleeding After Caesar?

How long do you normally bleed for after a c section? Something I forgot to ask before I left the hospital and just curious...

I bled heavily for 5 weeks after mine. I spent 3 weeks as an inpatient while my girls were in SCN and the 2nd week I asked if it was normal and they said it was... 2 days later I had a raging temp and infection! Antibiotics cleared it up but I still bled for another 3 weeks.

I think I was about the same. I'm having trouble remembering exactly, but I know I didn't bleed for weeks and weeks like some of the ladies who have replied.

I bled super heavy for a week, like a normal period for the following week or so, then light spotting (had to wear a liner, but didn't often need to change it during the day) till he was 5 weeks.
