Due on 3 September with my first, right in the middle of second semester of uni. I am a self employed construction contracts consultant and have gone back to study a second degree (law, not quite a walk in the park) after working full time for a number of years. I'm current working 30-35 hours a week and studying part-time.
I'm planning on having the remainder of 2012 off work after having bub in September, but don't have the same luxury with my study (I'm already just doing the minimum I need to progress to next year, I can't defer). So I just wanted to hear from any mums who had combined study and a newborn(including maybe attending the odd class with bub?).
Any tips or advice for getting in some study? Anyone had to apply for 'special consideration' on exams/assignments because of this scenario?
