Default My son is so clever !!!

My son is 3 in march, he is so clever!! Is it normal for a child that age to name every letter he sees ? He also knows most colours, including grey!. he can draw really well, he draws the sun, faces with noses, eyes, mouth, eyebrows, legs etc. He is now learning to write letters !. This is my first child, is that normal ??

No he sounds like a bright kid. What do you want to know? Is he gifted? Who cares and does it change anything? Not really

I don't want to know anything.. I just didn't expect him to pick up everything so quickly. . I've got no idea what a kid his age should know... I was just having a proud mum moment

He can trace the whole alphabet over dots, and can write his name (jyden) but he has trouble with the 'y' and the e is usually upside down

    That's a bit uncalled for!

Your entitled to a proud mummy moment, well done for encouraging his learning!

It does change a lot of things, he'll need more stimulation and to do more advanced play learning.

DD is much the same. I always thought it was very normal until I started taking her to playgroup and people constantly commented on how clever she was. She was doing the same things all the other kidsand her speech was easily as good even better then a few. But she is also 2 years younger then them all.

I'm proud of her either or.
