I just bought my similar aged nieces Movie ticket vouchers.

My Girls would all be happy with any of the suggestions pp have said.
Smiggle is most definately still well liked here even for my 12yr old.
My twins both like Go Girl books at the moment. DD2 has liked them for about 3 years or more now while DD3 has only just started liking them (actually its more that she has only just got the confidence to read them).
They all like hair ties, head band and clips.

I have decided on smiggle because it got the most votes, and there is one at the Westfield just down the road. I am locking away other suggestions for future reference
So, second question. What smiggle stuff? It's a stationary shop, right?
Sorry I'm hopeless when it comes to that age bracket and girls

I just showed my daughter (11) all the things listed in this thread and she too gave the for Smiggle. They are mad for it in that age group!

Yes, stationary plus they have things like drink bottles, bags even ice bricks and lunch boxes etc. http://www.smiggle.com/
My girls were desperate for one of the pencil cases. http://www.smiggle.com/SM_navIWCatPr...uct_Id=1602114I ended up buying it for them. Figured it might protect DD2 & DD3's pencils a bit when they drop their pencil cases.
eta: Another popular thing amongst girls of that age is Diva jewellery.

Wow Smiggle was a hit!
I bought some cool pens, different pencils (a twisty one, glitter one etc), a weird rope eraser, a beehive pencil sharpener, a pink water bottle and a notepad. They were SO stoked, because apparently "Smiggle is the best". Lol so thank you everyone!
