Not that it REALLY matters, but I am bored so thought I would put it to bubhub.
I am madly in love with avocado right now. I had one whole one for breakfast, and I am considering one for dinner.
Would that be a bad thing? Two whole avocados in a day, when 'they' only recommend 1/4-1/2 of one as they are so "fatty"

I reckon those one-off things are awesome, to be honest - if you're craving it and it's a wholefood, I'm in the "your body must need those nutrients" camp (not so for sugar, caffeine etc).
If you read info on paleo diets, or traditional wholefood diets, the proportion of fat in them is a LOT higher than the proportion of fat in the current 'healthy' pyramid dealio - and it's healthy fats like those found in avocado...So I reckon go for it. Far better eating avocado fat than chocolate fat!

Don't think there's anything wrong with one a day... Aren't they the good kind of fat? I love them on crackers, maybe with a slice of tomato and salt and cracked pepper!!
Question back... I love avocado too but when you only eat half and keep the stone in the other half they still seem to go brown. Any ideas on what you do to save the avocado if you don't eat a whole one???

I've never tasted it! I've been meaning to try it for ages though
