I am seeing my FS next week to discuss why this keeps happening and look at our options and I assume to discuss further testing, As we just cant get past 6 and half weeks. Dr Emmerson sounds great and I will probably look into him if I feel my FS doesnt do extra testing, but after this last loss I think he will have no choice but to do more extensive testing.
So if anyone else has had early losses/recurrent losses and had testing done please keep posting, as I am printing a list of tests I want done for next week.
    Thanks

I had almost all of the above, plus a hystero-salpingogram (shooting dye into the fallopian tubes and uterus to see image it and see if there were any blockages, or scar tissue).

I'm so very sorry for your losses. I remember how heartbroken and lost I felt when I was going through it. Have you got some good supports?

    Sorry to hear that Cherished

I am new to this forum and have just recently had my second misscarriage in 4 months. I was only roughly 5 weeks pregnant with both and I am reading everywhere that nothing can be done until you have had 3 misscarriages. I really don't want to risk going through this again and would love to know where you ladies are getting all these tests done? Is it just a your local GP or can I see a specialist?

Hi dolly, I am very sorry for your losses (hugs)
After 2 losses my gp referred me to a gyno through the public system, he didnt see the need in waiting for another loss, they did some testing but wouldn't do anymore until I had 3 losses. I was planning in seeing a FS anyway so I also got a referral for that. My FS saw me after 2 losses and also started basic testing, during that time I had another loss and more testing was done. Still no answers on why though as my tests have come back clear. There is nothing worse than hearing that your losses were just bad luck, which is why I pushed for testing......I hope you can find someone to help you get some answers. Good luck
