Default Mater Mothers South Brisbane (Public)

I have an appointment to see if I can get in / good vba2c candidate next Friday.

I haven't been there before and just wondering if I end up choosing to birth there (if I am accepted - been rejected once for being out of the catchment area), do your partners have to pay for parking every time they come and visit or do they give them a special pass or similar to park for free??

As far as I know you have to pay for parking every time unless there are special circumstances. It costs me $12 to park every time I have an antenatal appointment.

Years ago when DD was in NICU there I was able to get a number of free parking vouchers but I had to apply on special grounds and was also a single mother.

You have to pay, but can buy some sort of discounted book from the cafe on level 5 which is the main entry floor. Dont try park outside of designated areas as they are very strict and always handing out tickets. Unfortunately the surrounding areas are also metered now which stinks.

You can buy a 5 day parking pass for about $80 so DH can come and go as much as he likes.
