I am a Brisbane photographer (North side) looking to expand my portfolio to include Birth Photography. As such I am looking for volunteers who would like me to photograph the birth of their little one.
If you haven't considered Birth Photography before it may seem like a strange concept, but it is a chance to capture and keep forever one of the most amazing moments of your life. There are so many moments in the birth of a child that deserve to be remembered, little fragments of time that can easily be forgotten in the rush and momentum of the event but are such important parts of your birth story. And of course, it's the chance to keep forever that indescribable moment when you meet your baby for the very first time, when you hold them close and look into their eyes.
I understand the intense emotion involved in the birth of a child and as such I will at all times follow your guidance regarding the type of photos you wish to have taken and the role you would like me to play. I will provide a CD of all images taken and will only include photographs in the portfolio that you personally approve.
I am more than happy to meet you before the big day (or night!) so you can get to know me and feel totally comfortable with my presence when the time arrives.
If you are interested please pm me. Location restrictions apply!

Hi, I'm interested in the birth photography, but my little one isn't due till the end of August. Is that too far away? I'm having him at the Birth Centre at the Royal.

Just wondering whether this thread is still active and whether you are still looking for people - I know it's been 2 years, but worth asking anyway.
