It's finally happening ! We are getting a brand new spanking car! Anything from 2009/2010 onwards.
I need the following
- 7 seats
- preferably diesel but happy with a petrol 10 litres per 100km or under.
- Rear view camera or a very good sensor.
- 5 star safety rating.
- Massive boot, when 7 seats are up can still get a double pram and maybe some shopping etc
SUV please. Can't do vans, people movers etc.

Ford Territory, ticks all your boxes.

I have the 2010 ford territory, one thing to check is how big is your pram. We can't get my adiva sport in without creative placing, yet a friend can put her double pram in with ease. Can be expensive to service though as its classed as a 4wd and they make you pay for it!

Mazda cx-9. More boot space than a territory but still not much when all seats are up.
Or how about a Volvo xc-90?

Territory's are SUV's, either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive

I have the Volvo xc90 and I love it but it costs a
Fortune to run in terms of petrol, servicing etc and when stuff goes wrong
it costs loads to put right. If I had a time machine I wld go back n get the
mazda cx9 instead.

Hubby got a Holden captiva as a work car and I can only fit strider plus in as well if two rear seats are folded down.... V annoying.

I have just done the car shopping and went thru all of the 7 seater cars that 1) can fit a double pram n still have boot space
2) must have aircond in the back row
3) fit 3 carseats across the 2nd row
4) wanted a turbo diesel manual
Our pick ended up being between the Cx9 n pathfinder in the end the CX9 won but it uses approx 13 per 100km and isn't a diesel or manual but I love it
