Default 3wk old throwing up after feeds

My daughter is 3weeka old and over the past few days she has been throwing up after everytime she is fed. Doesn't matter if it's breast or bottle she still does the same. And then screams for more once she has thrown up. I'm not sure what to do as she won't take a dummy and if I give her more she throws it up again. I'm wondering if it's reflux or something??

She really only has 2-3 60mls (if that) in the 24hrs. She seems to throw up still with breast milk. Who is better to take her to find out if it's reflux?

Is she throwing up her whole feed? Is she putting on weight? Is she having lots of wet nappies?

Maybe she is having too much initially? Try giving maybe 50 mls and see how she copes with smaller feeds

Same thing happened to DS. Turned out to be cows milk protein intolerance. Very common in children. I cut out dairy from my diet (he was fully BFd) and he stopped puking.

Careful of the automatic reflux diagnosis. The meds for reflux are hardcore and often reflux can be a symptom rather than the actual problem.

Good luck - hope you find out what is causing it.

Keep an eye on it, as pyloric stenosis could be a cause

She has heaps of heavy wet nappies. Has only been done a poo every couple of days and when she does a poo it's like it's stored and there is heaps and goes everywhere. Not throwing up all the feed, probably 1/4. Then once that's done she screams for more.

Do you burp her half way through a feed? My son used to always throw up if he didn't do a half time burp. If bub has air trapped behind milk, they can throw it all up.

Yes she gets burped regularly throughout the formula feeds. But still seem to be throwing up even
    When it's just breast milk.
