I have discovered a lump on the outer part of my vagina, close to my thigh. I have had them before and assumed it was pimples, warm salty baths and it went away, this one however is so sore and a fair bit bigger and I'm so uncomfortable no matter what I do. Anyone else have this whilst pregnant? What is it? and what do I do?

Sounds like varicose veins and it's probably on your labia, not vagina. I had them with DD and they went away after she was born. The best thing to do is keep active to keep the circulation going but keep your feet up when you're relaxing.

Do you mean your labia majus? Your vagina is an internal organ...
I would hit it with some tea tree oil and get it checked if it doesn't go away.

I had the same thing at about 12 weeks with DS3. It got really bad, then burst (sorry TMI) a few days later, it was such a relief. I then went onto develop varicous veins down there a month or so later.

I am guessing a cyst. I would go see the gp. With my first pregnancy I had what sounds the same and totally understand very painful. If it is a cyst they may possibly be able to drain it for you which may give you some relief. Hope it clears up soon.

bluebutterfly74: Thanks for the info, if no better by Tuesday will go to the doctor.
mummyjac: Ouch! you poor thing!
Thermolicious: Thanks, yes that's what I meant!, will try the tea tree oil and see if that makes a difference.
becclesm: Ouch, I sure hope not, but if no better soon will go to the doctor to have that ruled out.
WishingOnAStar: Wow, its amazing and yucky what pregnancy can do to our bodies lol, but yes maybe it is this.... If it remains uncomfortable, I'll definitely want it cut out.
LG: Thanks for the advice, will try to move around more, it does hurt still when doing so but not as much as when sitting and laying down.
