Just needing a little advice or reassurance, I am approaching 20 weeks and for the last week and a half have had a thick gel like mildly blood stained discharge happen about 10 times as much as a tablespoon at a time?
I was on a holiday at the time and I did ring the local hospital and went into emergency where the doctor ( not an obstetrician ) told me it was nothing to be concerned about as there was no pain, he checked my stats and a Doppler for the heartbeat and all ok?
I am feeling uneasy as this is my second pregnancy and my son was born 10 weeks early with ruptured membranes at 29 weeks.
I live remotely and I don't have an obstetrician only a GP - I have a scan booked for Monday, should I stop being so complacent and get myself to a ob for some extra care as I may have a weak cervix or something and I am not sure if and when they cold put a stitch in.
Please any advice will do...

If it was me personally I would go to OB just because what you have described sounds like a show? And with your previous premmie I would think its better to be safer than sprey.
Hope everything goes ok
