I ended up in emergency last week with terrible ovary pains. I was exactly 5 weeks. They did an external then an internal scan but couldn't see anything. One of the doctors seemed concerned about not seeing anything, the other didn't.
Is it too early to see a sac?
My HCG levels are high and still rising well - in fact in twin territory according to betabase.
I have my 7 week scan on Tuesday and I'm freaking out! I'd love some reassurance from someone.

Sorry to hear about your news. I would think that it was probably too early to see something at 5 weeks. And if your hcg is rising nicely then that has to be good news. Im not a doc but thats what I think.
All the very best and I hope you get some good news soon!

I agree, probably too early at 5 weeks - that's why most drs won't even do a scan until you are 6.5weeks, it's just too stressful for mum if you don't see anything.
Your HCG levels sound great, hang in there and I hope you get some good news soon

Just an update - I had the 7 week scan today and ATM all looks good! 1 x good sized 7wk embryo with good heart beat
.
My FS had a bit of trouble finding it, though - it's very high up in my uterus. I'd say this, combined with being a bit early stopped anything from coming up on the 5 week scan.
Phew!
