I LOVE Maya, I want to use that if #2 is a girl but DH is worried that people will think she's named after the Myer stores.

Hate to say it - but only bogans will think she's named after the shop Myer!

Seriously, use Maya, it's a gorgeous name. It was my number one until I went and fell in love with one

    Hahahaha...that's what I said too!
And it's only the Aussies & Kiwis who pronounce Maya/Myer same, most other accents pronounce the 'r' in Myer so there'd be no confusion.

Just an aside. As a guy, I'm guessing I am the only one who thinks of Eleanor and thinks of the Shelby Mustang GT 500 from Gone in 60 Seconds???

    *Looks around eagerly..."

    Anyone? No?

    *sighs* Women!

My mate agreed to letting his wife chose Eleanor just because of the GT 500! She gets Ellie for short which i think is cute

I love ellenor spelling. It really sucks your having trouble getting agencies to fix their mistake
Just to clarify- Chevelle is an acceptable bogan name!
Ellenor is not bogan spelling but like PP I prefer Eleanor.

Chevelles are one of my favourite cars so I'm not sure if I could use it as a name but it is pretty!

Eleanor/Ellenor are both pretty names and to be honest I had only seen it spelt Ellenor until I came on BH!

Naming your kid after a car = Bogan
Naming your kid a name that someone somewhere named their car = not bogan

    There is a difference.
