Default Bogan or not? *Spin off*

So I have been involved me in the Strangest name thread over here

It has Inspired me to ask.. Do you think the Name Ellenor Is Boganish at all? DH and I have been discussing this name and the spelling issues for most of the 5 years we have been together, so I am wondering Boganish or not?

If you have any thoughts on the name please tell me that too. I'm gathering information for the day I find out I have a girl..

    No I don't think it's bogan, it's nice
But I do prefer the spelling Eleanor. Your spelling is not too bad, but I do find *some* alternate spelling bogan-ish

No, thats fine. Bogan spelling would be something like Elleanoyre Elanneore or Elanyour. Something along those lines. The way you spelt it looks acceptable Lol

I don't think its bogan at all. Personally I like your spelling better then the "traditional" spelling, as it is spelt how it sounds. In saying that I am said to be "bogan" to as I spelt my son's name a non "traditional" way as I wanted it spelt how it sounded (Zackarie) and not with a ch in it.

Edited to add- I think I was pronouncing it wrong. I suppose if you want it pronounced Ellen-or(which is how I pronounced it first) the it is fine but if you want the 'a' bit sounded when pronounced I would add an a.

The ultimate bogan spelling would be Ellah-Noire with a few little french tick things in there above the e's and a's hahaha.

Not bogan but without an 'a' you may get her called Elle-nor. I personally like the spelling Eleanor better but I wouldn't think it was bogan.
