    I did 6 seats over 2 cars.

    I know a few people who have used 1 capsule & 2 bases.

    We also have enough car seats for each car.

    We have a Meridian AHR tilt and adjust in one car (unfortunately we are about to turn forward facing as miss 10 months is tall and 12 kilos ) and we got the AHR maxi rider for the other daily driver car.
    The two vintage cars will share a car seat as their use is very infrequent.

    Honestly, I would never buy a seat off ebay. You never know if it has been in an accident.

    get a seat for each car. much much easier than fussing around with swapping them over and working out who takes what car. We always have our seats fitted professionally as we couldnt get them as secure as the professionals do. That said, most of my friends put their seats in themselves and are confident they are as secure as when they are fitted professionally (I however remain to be convinced).
