    Default Misbehaving Mums - ABC

Who watched this? I COULD NOT BELIEVE the mother laying in bed with a full ashtray resting ON HER BELLY, smoking first thing when she wakes up, and then right next to her daughter on the lounge! And justifying it by saying that because her first baby was ok, then its ok! So so sad for both the daughter, the mother and the poor unborn baby.

I am pleased that she understood, after speaking with the specialist midwife, how dangerous smoking while pregnant can be, but its a pity she didn't seem to be able to commit to not smoking for the remainder of the pregnacy and chose to stop filming (presumably because she was going to continue smoking, even if was fewer cigarettes than she was first having).

On a brighter note, I really liked Kaylee (sp?) who made such a great effort to get fitter and minimize her weight gain for her and her babies sakes

I caught the 2nd half only whilst flicking stations. I've recorded fast food baby or whatever it was called that was on next so that should be interesting (on the shorts, 1 mum to be says her smoking is making her unborn's heart stronger by having to do extra work!!!)

If you go onto ABC's Iview website, in their recently added section you can watch the episode online!

I watched it too. The smoking in bed with full ashtray made me feel physically sick!!

And I was absolutely horrified at the preview for next weeks episode where the woman said that smoking was good for her baby as it encouraged it's heart to work harder and grow stronger (or something to that effect)!!! WTF?!?! Some people just don't deserve to have children :-(
