Hi all - I'm hoping some of you experienced mums can help me! For our first pram we were looking for one that a capsule can clip into, and we were going to rent the capsule. We were looking at the Maxi Cosi but apparently the attachment isn't yet approved for use in Australia as it is (the attachment is called the iso-fix). You could still technically use it but have to strap it in using a traditional restraint (rather than the iso-fix) which sort of defeats the point.
Does anyone have any experience with this and ways around it in terms of a different capsule or something??

I have just bought a Maxi Cosi too, which is compatible to use with the Baby Jogger City Select pram with the adapters for the capsule.
Maxi Cosi's bought over seas use the isofix method to install in the car but the Australian models have been changed to comply with our standards. So a capsule purchased or hired here will be installed via your cars anchor point like any other car seat :-)

We have bought a Maxi Cosi capsule too! It attaches to our Baby Jogger City Select. As the PP mentioned, the Australian model of the Maxi Cosi is fully in line with Australian safety standards. Only the overseas model has the iso-fix.
