Hi guys,
Just curious if anyone knows the answer to this? I'm assuming that an internal would pick it up earlier?
TIA![]()

How early can you detect pregnancy on an ultrasound?

My snographer told me they can see a sac and a 2millimeter "baby" as early as 4-5 weeks pregnant, with an internal obviously. With my first pregnancy I was 5+ 3or4 and I saw her as a spec on the screen lol

I think I had a scan at about 5 weeks n you could see a fetal pole and sac or yoke or something. A week after that a heart beat! :-)

you can't see before 4 weeksish. Because before that it is to small to see.
If you want to know a HPT is your best bet. A scan isn't best until after 6 weeks.
Good luck.

Hi there,
We were 4 wks 3 days when an ultrasound picked our pregnancy up. It would only come up on an internal one & it took a while for them to find the sac. Only thing they could find was the sac, too early for anything else to come up.
Good luck!
