DS is only 9 months but I watch him approuch a step and then just sit there and wait for assistance to get down it haha. When do babies start reversing down steps themselves? I'm guessing it's closer to a year old?

Have you showed him how to turn around and get down on his tummy?
My DD was doing it by 9 months, but we had showed her how to get off the bed backwards too (we co-slept at that age).

No I haven't showed him. He learnt to get up steps fine by himself but maybe he'll catch on quicker with getting down them if I show him, thanks.
