Lame here too! And have a boring day (as car needs fixing so been stuck at home for days!) which I'm struggling to make it through awake. Someone said on FB when I said my plans were to watch early fireworks on tv & go to bed and that I had a long boring day planned said to host a party. Meh no thanks. Too many kids, too much rain & mud, not enough food, no money to buy more and I've cleaned today and last party (dh's 30th) was a massive failure so I'd rather sleep lol

I too will be boring. New years doesn't really mean anything to me. I don't drink and being around drunk people and staying up past my bed time then getting up at 5 with my kids just isn't appealing to me.

Another boring household here too! This is first NYE DH & I have no plans. Usually we catch up with friends or family. Even when I was 37 wks pregnant with DS, the size of a HOUSE & it was 40oC, we still went to a friends place
This year I just CBF! I have an almost-2 year old, 32 weeks pg, it's stinking hot, my parents are on a cruise, our good friends are away, so we've decided to get Chinese takeaway & sit outside under the pergola & play cards! I'm actually looking forward to it! Although I'm pretty sure I'll be asleep before midnight...Might watch the kiddy fireworks so I feel like I haven't missed out completely

Yep, quiet one here too. Off to bed early, but I'll be up during the night with my sleepless toddler. Absolutely nothing interesting planned. Probably have an early glass of champers, watch some tv, do some sewing and off to bed. Party animal I am!

I'm baking pies tonight. Well actually, we are having home made pizzas for dinner, I will have a few glasses of bubbles and then I will bake the 2 chocolate tarts I need for tomorrow. Whoo, fun times.
