I agree I had a scan in my last pregnancy at around 6 and a half weeks and they found a sac but not fetal pole or heartbeat. I think it's most likely too early. You doc sounds a bit dodgy, why wouldn't he do a quantitative HCG serum is beyond me. I would change docs and get a blood test + another scan in a week or two. I know it's hard not to worry but really i think you are probably still pregnant just early.

Hugs. What an insensitive dr. Our fs won't scan until 7 weeks as anything before then she thinks is too early. Hope you get some wonderful news shortly and can put your mind at ease.

Great news! Blood test from yesterday confirmed I am pregnant, just very early 6 weeks!!

My husband wants to complain to the surgery where the dr told me i wasn't pregnant. Definately won't be going back to her ever again.

Thanks again ladies. The support and help on here is amazing

Fantastic news! Just in time to welcome the new year!

Still worries me that the Dr could be so wrong... Always trust your instincts ladies.

Onwards and upwards now that you've got confirmation woooohoooo

I knew it. God that doctor is infuriating!! All that worry he put you through. He sounds completely incompetent. Let your husband complain. Seriously.
It's your DH's job to protect you and his little unborn and boy does this idiot doctor deserve it! Might be good for his other patients to know that this doctor is pretty shoddy as well.
I'm glad you won't be going back to that doc.

    Oh and congrats

Congrats every pregnancy is such a blessing! How far are you now? I hope you are feeling well and that you have found yourself a much more acceptable Dr to care for you for the duration of your pregnancy and beyond
