Default Your most embarassing babay monitor moment :)??

Just out of curiosity..have you been caught out saying something embarassing that others heard over the baby monitor?
For me it happened last week when I was visiting a friend whose DD is same age as mine. We were feeding them in her bedroom while hubbies were watching TV and the parent monitor was next to them and baby unit next to us ..obviously on. So wetalked about sore boobs, how s*x has been since bub, what its like, our body changes...everything that one wouldnt want any man to hear!! Than on our way home my hubby tells me they heard EVERYTHING !! I was SOOO embarassed that my frineds hubby heard it...why they didnt turn the monitor off ,I dont know... aparantly both were too embarassd to get up and turn it off

I have a REALLY embarrassing story

We invited one of DH's friends over for some intimate nibblies and drinks (and to 'accidentally' introduce him to my single friend ). My friend wasn't sure if she was interested but came along because she thought he was hot lol.

Anyway, after an hour or two I went into the bedroom to feed DS1, and my friend followed so that we could talk about him . We BOTH discussed him in detail - his 'nice arms', his smile, his flaws (pretty sure I said he was short), and this went on for a good 5 mins until we heard a gentle knock on the door. It was DH saying that he had just come out of the bathroom and he could hear us talking on the monitor in the lounge...and his friend was sitting on the couch. I could have died.

This sort of thing happens in movies, it's not meant to happen IRL!!!

    LOL!

No real embarrassing moments here. Although my BIL and his girlfriend were having a really bad arguement at our place a month or two back. They took the arguement away from everyone (or so they thought) and went into DS's room. The baby monitor is never turned off and it's in our bedroom, which is right next to the lounge room. We did let them know..

I don't have one because our monitor has only ever gone when the baby is sleeping and we turn the one off in the living room before getting the baby that's awake, and then turn the monitor off in the nursery as well (power saving).
We have picked up other peoples conversations on our monitor...people in a neighbouring house who obviously has the same monitor!

I've only heard hubby having a sook to DS2 about how Mummy is a grumpy bum and evil for making him deal with toxic poo at 4am. This was followed by gagging and associated sounds of disgust. I may be evil but Karma's a cow.

A friend had a similar experience to Witwicky..
She had a party at her plce. there was a couple there who she hated but her hubby liked. when she and hubby went to the nursery to check on their bub she went off at him for inviting that couple, how she hated the women, etc, etc. Needless to say the monitor was on and EVERYONE heard their their argument..the poor couple were so red faced and left immediatly ...
well thats one way of getting rid of unwanted guests !!

Same here. Our daughters who were 1 & 2 at the time had come into our bed in the morning and we hadn't turned our monitor off. Then we heard another baby start to cry on the monitor. DP asked me if there was a baby in our house that he didn't know about

We were always cautious after that because we figured if we could hear them, they could probably hear us.

I have an often strained relationship with my mother. When she came to stay for a week when DS was born (he was 3wks old, she missed the birth and this was her first meeting) by day2 I was complaining to my DH to get her the frock out of my house as she was useless and no help!!

This of course was *secretely* done in our bedroom....with the monitor on....omg I could have died!! It was never mentioned though, which has just made things awkward.

In my defense *ducking for cover*, she really is useless who only wants to do the fun Nanna stuff like showing DS off at shops. She also takes great delight in telling anyone who would listen that she came and stayed for a week to 'help'.....she didn't lift a finger, slept in every day, didn't cook/clean...and many nappies do you think she has now changed in his 4mths??? NONE!!
