Hi Ladies, hoping you can shed some light! I went today for a dating scan and my Ob saw a very healthy bubba, with a heartbeat He also showed me there was another sac and he said I have conceived identical twins but the 2nd sac was empty. He called it a "vanished twin". There isnt much info on google and was hoping someone might be able to explain it a bit better? TIA

I lost one of triplets at 7 wks but had only known there was twins until I lost it..
