Default NAN AR - whats the best way to mix it!

I'm trying nan AR after the karicare thickener was giving my DD explosive yellow poos. The nan is so thick and lumpy that I'm wondering what the best way to mix it is. Will a few lumps at the bottom of a bottle make her sick if it hasn't all mixed?
    Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem with this formula when using it for top-ups! There are 2 things I was told to try and they seemed to help.

    1) only put half the powder in first, shake vigorously and then add other half
    2) mix powder in to cold/cool water and then heat. The warmer water often makes it clump too quickly

    Hope this helps
