I just wondered whether anyone knows of a place in Sydney where I can get egg free, nut free, dairy free cupcakes and a birthday cake. I want something really pretty for my daughter's birthday party and I don't think it is fair that she has to miss out just because of her allergies. I also want a pretty stash of cupcakes that I can keep in the freezer at preschool so she feels ok when they celebrate each child's birthday during the year.
Look forward to hearing from anyone who can help
I'll keep my fingers crossed

I agree make it yourself? I have a lovely chocolate cake recipe. No one has every guessed it's not a "normal" cake.

I also have a fantastic (and easy) recipe for chocolate cupcakes or cake. It's so good that a friend who has no allergies recently asked for it! I made my daughter's 1st birthday cake using this recipe and google was a great help for decorating ideas. I also made some cupcakes with dairy free buttercream and used some of the decorating ideas from the Women's Weekly cupcake book.
If you're really keen to buy pre-made cakes you could always approach a cake shop or two and see if they can offer allergy free alternatives.

I found a professional Cake decorator that does allergy Free!!! Yippee
I found a professional cake decorator. All of their stuff is dairy, egg, nut and soy free so no cross contamination problems. All of the things are allergy free and they even have matching cookies. I can have a ballerina cake with themed cupcakes and iced cookies to match for the party. The facility is also nut free!! I can't believe my luck. I just found it on the net whilst I was searching. Have a look at the beautiful things www.beeallergyfriendly.com.au and close as well Carlingford, Sydney. It's just what I was looking for.
Yes I can cook, however I wanted a ballerina cake or angelina mouse and I'm not quite up to that. I have done ordinary cakes for her over the years but wanted something special. These are special all right and I spoke to a lady and she said they can pretty much do what ever I like, I can even send a photo through and they will create it for me.
Thanks so much for all of your replys.
