I have a little electrical device thing that I clip onto DS1's pants when the mossie's are out. He is super dooper reactive to them. The bites swell and fill like blisters. When the pop they become infected if I'm slack for just a moment with creams etc. When he was little I would clip it to his blanket or tuck it in his pram. You can hear the sound but not as loudly as mosquitos can. Will rummage for it as I haven't needed it this year thus far.

Thanks, this sounds great (if it works for my DS) as you wouldn't have to worry about sensitive skin reactions.

We're currently staying at my Dad's van in a caravan park for a few days by the water, so mozzies are in full force and we have limited shops. I also only have my phone so not on full Internet capabilities. Thank god for BH, thanks all for your replies

Poor DS got a little bite on his eyelid of all places, I had him all wrapped up apart from his head of course!!

Oh I'm so waiting to hear what it is... Want to buy one for myself and my DD - we are like your son, always the only ones to get bitten and have some sort of 'allergic reaction' to them. Sometimes I get bitten enough that it makes me vomit.

Oh lovely, it always makes it so much easier to make the choice when you know something is not only safe but smells lovely! - heaps of people up here swear by it and as we are in the tropics it's mozzie town so it really has stood the test of time lol
