I turn 34. Holy crap, where did the last 17 years go? I could have sworn I just finished high school.

ooooher .. firstly .. Happy Birthday
but I do know what you mean ... I'm 33 .. and it seems an unreal number to me?? I do often wonder if I will feel as 'weird' when I'm 40 .. or 50 .. or even 70 (assuming I live that long of course!!) .. I mean, does my grandfather FEEL 84?? or does he still feel that he is 30 something???
my inner child keeps me young though - I still find toilet humour hilarious - I love practical jokes (safe ones ) and I love being a kid with my kids .. maybe that helps??

I feel the same. I am only a couple of years on you. We had a school reunion a couple of months back and it was like we had only just left high school. It was just so bizarre!!
A big Happy Birthday for tomorrow...

No, no plan. DH is working, so I will just hang out with DD and maybe see my sister and niece.
I kind of feel a bit sad though. Turning 34 marks moving in to a time of my life where I will have had longer without my mum than I had with her. That probably sounds a bit strange.
But otherwise I'm happy to keep it low key. I might go and spend my xmas gift cards.
