Default CD1 - Most emotionally draining day of the month.

Anyone else fall in the deep dark crappy hole when the witch arrives and you are faced with another month of TTC.

There is a glimmer of hope on everyday for the rest of the month, both leading up to O and in the TWW. But CD1 dashes all those thoughts.

I've spent the morning bawling my eyes out, with intermittent thoughts of punching a wall. Back to misery, a bit of suck it up, then the mopes return.

*sigh* any sure fire way to spark up my mood, just can't be bothered anymore.

I keep getting told next year is my year, just don't believe it.

Anyone else a total misery guts on CD1?

Yes. I am exactly the same.

In fact, I'm not on CD1 yet, and I've been crying all day because I feel upset - which must mean AF is on her way. So then I cry more. And cry because I'm crying. Does that even make sense?!!

It's so tough. I wish I had some great words of advice, but I won't recommend what I just did - eating half a tub of Maltesers and feeling sick. Strangely wasn't as helpful as I thought it would be!

It's just exhausting, this TTC business. We have a couple more months on our current fertility treatment (FSH injections), and then it's IVF. I think that added pressure of 'it has to work soon or else' doesn't help either.

Hope you can take it easy today and be kind to yourself. I'm sorry I don't have any great answers, but I definitely understand how you feel.

Thanks girlX, makes perfect sense to me. The crying, the eating junk, the feeling of pressure to conceive. My tears have stopped for now and the painful cramping is setting in. Had a D&C 4 weeks ago and was warned this AF may be worse than standard, certainly feels like it will live up to reputation.

This has been my toughtest CD1 for the year for some reason, I guess I thought it would have happened by now.

I hope your journey can end soon with a healthy pregnancy, no pressure but for you.
